The fitness center received a $120,000 renovation and complete upgrade of cardio and free weight equipment in January of 2009. The cardio room includes three treadmills, two elipticals, upright and recumbent bikes, and a stepper. The main weight room contains free weights, bench press, an incline bench press, a smith machine, and 19 other pieces of equipment with labels providing usage instruction.
Open hours vary each semester. The Fitness Center is primarily used by Health and Life Fitness classes and then athletics. Please check the website for operation hours each semester.

Basic Fitness Center Rules
1. Must have a valid BCCC student, faculty, or staff ID card.
2. Must wear proper athletic workout attire. (No Jeans)
3. Participants must secure all their belongings in the general locker room. You must provide your own lock.
4. Equipment must be returned to its proper location.
5. Towels are mandatory. Wipe down equipment after use.
6. No food or drink (other than plastic water bottles) allowed in the fitness center.
7. Observe all posted signs and labels.
