BALTIMORE – The battle of Baltimore is on for this week. Baltimore City vs. Baltimore County will be played on Wednesday, February 3rd. The BCCC Panthers travel to CCBC-Catonsville to take on the Cardinals in a conference matchup at 8p.m.
Both teams met earlier this season in a pre-season matchup in the Athletic Center and the Panthers won three out of the four scrimmage games played.
The Panthers fell short against conference opponent Anne Arundel Community College last week in the final seconds of the game, 83-81. Sophomore All-American forward John Williams (Mervo/Baltimore, MD) led the team with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Followed by sophomore Calvert Townes (Joppatowne/Joppatowne, MD) recording his first double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Last year, BCCC handled Catonsville with a balance attack of offense and defense by beating them at home in the Athletic Center, 66-49.
