PIKE CREEK, Del. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's cross country teams each turned in ninth-place finishes at Saturday's  Goldey Beacom College Fall Classic.

In the women's race, Sara Bariglio of Holy Family won the individual title in 20 minute and 55 seconds. Shamera O'Neil (Southwestern HS) was BCCC's top finisher, running the course in 24:03 to finish 17th. Sarah Hunt-Fofana (Bronx, N.Y./JKF HS) was the Lady Panthers' next finisher with a time of 30:42.

For the men, Romero Luis of Bloomfield College finished in 27:39 to win the individual title. Yohann M'Pelingo (Pascal Blaise HS (France)) paced the BCCC men's team after finishing in 35:21. Delano Woode (Green Island HS (Jamaica)) was the Panthers' second finisher in 36:49.

The Panthers will run in their first meet in Baltimore on Saturday when they participate in the Goucher College Cross Country Classic at 10:30 a.m.
