TOWSON, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's cross country teams competed at Saturday's Goucher College Cross Country Classic.
Misty Parshall of York College won the women's 6K race in 25 minutes and 22 seconds, while Goucher's Joey Negreann took the men's 8K title in 26:57.
For the BCCC women, Shamera O'Neil (Southwestern HS) paced the team, finishing in 29:59. Jasmine Adams (Thurgood Marshall HS) (33:26) and Sarah Hunt-Fofana (JFK HS (N.Y.)) (37:27) were the Lady Panthers' other finishers in 33:26 and 37:27, respectively.
Yohann M'Pelingo (Pascal Blaise HS (France)) led the BCCC men for the third straight week, completing the course in 35:17. Delano Woode (Green Island HS (Jamaica)) was next, finishing in 38:06.
The Panthers run in the final regular-season race of the year on Saturday at Hood College in Thurmont, Md. at 11 a.m.
