BCCC XC Teams Open Season at York College Meet

YORK, Pa. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's cross country teams opened the 2012 season at the York College Coach Achtzehn Classic on Saturday.
 
Sheena Crawley of Franklin and Marshall finished the women's 6K race in 24 minutes and 11 seconds, while Darren Driscoll of Virginia Wesleyan College completed the men's 8K course in 27:20. The BCCC men finished sixth overall with 181 points.
 
The three Lady Panthers to finish were Tonya Smith (32:33), Sarah Hunt-Fofana (38:17) and Courtney Plummer (41:24).
 
On the men's side, Kendall Williams paced the team, finishing in 41:06. Coming in next were: Julian Beckles (41:55), Okechi Onyeje (44:25), Moussaka Lam (44:25) and Courtland Pugh (48:13).
 
The Panthers travel to Salisbury, Md. on Sept. 29 for the Don Cathcart Invitational.
