Box Score Baltimore, MD - On Tuesday night the Lady Panthers hosted Montgomery College on Youth Day in its regular season home opener. The women's game started at 4 p.m.in front of a raucous crowd of over 250 Baltimore City elementary and middle school students, faculty, and staff. Montgomery College led at half-time (46-40). With the halftime pep talk proving to be just what the Lady Panthers needed, they managed to outlast the Lady Raptors for the win (83-75).
BCCC managed to get 44 points off turnovers and 24 second chance points. MC managed to get 21 points from turnovers, 11 second chance points and 16 fast break points. MC shot 39.1 of their field goals, 28.6% from the 3 point line and 59.4% from the free throw line.
Sherri Addison led Montgomery with 25 points while the Panthers were led by
Natasha Roy with 16 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists.
Troniquia Black added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Donasja Scott also had a double-double with 14points and 10 rebounds
The Panthers go back on the road for the Monroe College Invitational on November 18
th at 6 p.m. The Lady Panthers next home game is November 29
th against Northern Virginia CC
