Baltimore, MD - In the nightcap on Wednesday, BCCC hosted rival Cecil in a MD JUCO conference game and walked away with a win 98-89.  The Panthers move to 9-5 overall and remain in a first place tie for the conference lead with a 3-0 record.  Cecil drops to 7-6, 1-4.
The Panthers jumped out to an early 27-17 lead before Cecil responded with a run of their own with some hot '3' point shooting.  The Seahawks led 42-37 at half-time.  BCCC responded to start the second half with a 5-0 run to tie it up at 42-42.  The Panthers continued to explode offensively scoring 61 points in the second half.  Joe Hugley led the Panthers with 27 points.  Deion Evans chipped in with 14 points while a total of six BCCC players scored in double digits including Haneef Vaughn-Wilson, Ronald Hammond, Scott Harrelson, and Chad Andrews-Fulton.  Cecil was led by hot shooting Keon Booth who hit six '3's and26 points.
BCCC travels to Bel Air, MD to face Harford CC in a first place showdown on Friday, January 6, at 7:30 pm. 
The Panthers return home on January 11th to host CSM at 7:30 pm
