BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team won its third straight game on Saturday after beating Manor College 101-63 at the BCCC P.E. Center. The Panthers took a 31-point lead into halftime and outscored MC 44-34 in the second half.
Brandon Belt (Odenton, Md./Arundel HS) led four BCCC players in double-figure scoring. Head coach Terry Maczko continues to be impressed by the effort of his young squad. “Physically, I have no complaints”, Maczko said. “After the rigorous conditioning program we had in the preseason, I feel like we are in excellent shape. We had a great week of practice and it showed in our performance against Manor.”
This week, the Panthers (3-1) host Stevenson University on Tuesday at 4 p.m. for Youth Day and CCBC-Catonsville at 1 p.m. on Saturday for their Maryland JUCO conference opener.
