FREDERICK, Md. – Trask Ivey scored a game-high 22 points and led six Frederick Community College men's basketball players in double figures in the 105-67 Maryland JUCO Conference win over Baltimore City Community College on Wednesday night at the FCC Cougar Dome.
Ivey was 8-of-12 from the field including 6-of-9 from 3-point range in 31 minutes. Pat Kelly (21 points), Mitchell Weedon (15), Jared Carithers (12), Anthony Hubbard (11) and Da'Ron Wiseman (10) each scored in double figures for Frederick (11-1, 5-1 MD JUCO).
The game was close in the first half and FCC took a 10-point lead 34-24 into half time. In the second half, the Cougars exploded for 71 points while limiting BCCC (11-5, 4-2) to 43 second-half points.
Brandon Belt (Odenton, Md./Arundel HS) led the Panthers with 25 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field and 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc. Kendal Williams (Dover, Del.) added 13 points while Kenny Bey-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) contributed 10.
The Panthers host CCBC-Dundalk in a conference matchup at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
