BALTIMORE, Md. – Emmalyn Stahl hit .345 with a match-high 16 kills to lead the Hagerstown Community College women's volleyball team to a 3-0 win (25-15, 25-16, 25-6) over Baltimore City Community College at the BCCC P.E. Center on Wednesday night.
BCCC (2-16) kept it close to start the first two sets, but Hagerstown (17-7) dominated the final set to win the match.
For Hagerstown, Elise Manning hit .350 with 10 kills, while Paige Kitchen had 31 assists and five digs.
Myrtice Jackson (Mergenthaler HS) led the Lady Panthers with five kills. Rachael Griffith (Western HS) had 10 assists and Rodchell Thompson (Woodlawn HS) had a match-high 14 digs. Aviann Rose (Forest Park HS) had a match-high two blocks.
The Lady Panthers return to action on Friday when they travel to Columbia, Md. to take on Howard Community College at 6 p.m.
