BCCC Volleyball Team Ends Season with Two Losses

BALTIMORE, Md.
– The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team dropped its last two matches of the season, falling 3-0 (11-25, 21-25, 15-25) at the College of Southern Maryland on Wednesday and 3-0 (16-25, 18-25, 17-25) at CCBC-Catonsville on Friday.

The Lady Panthers end the season with a 3-19 overall record. They were 2-11 against MD JUCO competition.

Against Southern Maryland, Kourtney Anderson (Baltimore City College HS) had a team-high four kills and added five digs. Rodchell Thompson (Woodlawn HS) led the squad with 10 digs. Aviann Rose (Forest Park HS) had two service aces, two digs and 1.5 blocks.

In the Catonsville match, Anderson tallied 15 digs and five kills. Thompson had 16 digs and one assist, while Quaishay Anderson (I.B.E) had 13 digs, one ace and one kill. Sheena Belton (Edmondson-Westside HS) recorded four dig, three blocks, two aces and one kill.
