Tournament Bracket

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team will be the No. 3 seed in the 2011 Region XX Division II Tournament, hosted by Hagerstown Community College from February 24-27. The Panthers (18-10) will play No. 6 Potomac State College (16-12) at 2 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have not met this season.

BCCC was knocked out of the 2011 Maryland JUCO Conference Tournament last Friday after a 93-81 loss to Frederick Community College in the quarterfinal round. Kendal Williams (Dover, Del.) scored a team-high 19 points in the game. BCCC's leading scorer on the season Micah Fraction (Silver Spring, Md./Montrose Christian) was limited to just 16 points. Brandon Belt (Odenton, Md./Arundel HS) added 13 points and five rebounds, while Kenny Bey-Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) finished with 10 points. Christian Diboko (Kinshasa, Congo) grabbed a team-high six rebounds to go with his four points and team-high two blocks.
