BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College Women's volleyball team suffered a 3-1 loss against Allegany College of Maryland on Tuesday night at the BCCC P.E. Center. The Lady Panthers (4-16) fell 25-20, 25-13, 20-25, 25-10.
BCCC put on one of its most valiant defensive efforts this season, tallying 54 digs in the match. On the night,
Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) finished with a team-high eight kills and added four digs and two total blocks.
Kourtney Anderson (Baltimore, Md. /City College) accounted for seven kills, seven digs, one ace and one block assist.
Jamira Wilson (Baltimore, Md./Southside Academy
) had a total of eight kills and three digs.
Rachel Griffith (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) dished out 24 assists, one kill, one ace and one block assist.
Danielle Standley (Baltimore Md. /Milford Mill Academy) had seven kills, four digs and 1.5 blocks.
For the second straight match,
Rodchell Thompson (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS)
Jaizmeine Ramirez (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) both finished with a team-high of nine digs.
The next game for the Lady Panthers will be in Hagerstown, Md. on Friday at 6 p.m. against Hagerstown Community College.
