BALTIMORE, Md. – The Maryland JUCO Conference released the seedings for the 2012 basketball tournament on Sunday afternoon. The Baltimore City Community College men's team will be the fourth seed, while the women will be the ninth seed.

First-round games will be played on Tuesday, February 14 at the site of the higher seed. The final three rounds of the tournament will be played at Frederick Community College in Frederick, Md. from Thursday, February 16 to Sunday, February 19.

The BCCC men's team (17-9 overall, 11-5 MD JUCO) will host No. 13 Harford Community College (8-18, 5-11 MD JUCO) at 7 p.m. at the BCCC P. E. Center. Just last Tuesday, the Panthers defeated Harford 99-75. The winner of Tuesday's game will play the winner of the No. 5 College of Southern Maryland – No. 12 CCBC-Catonsville game at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The BCCC women (8-18, 5-8 MD JUCO) will travel to Dundalk, Md. to take on No. 8 CCBC-Dundalk (12-3, 6-7 MD JUCO) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams met in November when Dundalk posted a 67-53 win at the P.E. Center. The winner of this game will play top-seeded Montgomery College-Rockville (22-4, 12-0 MD JUCO) at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
