BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team will play No. 6 Erie Community College at 2 p.m. ET (1 p.m. CT) on Tuesday, March 20 in the 2012 NJCAA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament, hosted by Danville Area Community College in Danville, Ill.

Erie CC (24-4) won the Region III championship on Sunday after defeating Mercyhurst North East 87-62. ECC won the last two Region III Tournament titles and is making its second consecutive NJCAA Tournament appearance.

The tournament has a double-elimination format, so the Panthers (23-10) will be guaranteed at least two games. If they win the opening round game, they will play at 9 p.m. ET (8 p.m. CT) against the winner of the No. 3 Rhode Island and MCC-Penn Valley game. If they lose, they will take on the loser of the Rhode Island-Penn Valley game at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT) on Thursday.
