BALTIMORE, Md. – The CCBC-Catonsville women's volleyball team defeated Baltimore City Community College 3-1 (27-25, 25-20, 19-25,25-17) on Tuesday night at the BCCC P.E. Center. With the loss, the Lady Panthers fell to 2-7 on the season.

Offensively, Jamira Wilson (Baltimore, Md./Southside Academy) led BCCC with nine kills and five aces. Rodchelle Thompson (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) had six kills and two aces, and Kourtney Anderson (Baltimore, Md./City College) tallied five kills, three digs and one ace.

Rachael Griffith (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) had a team-high 16 assists and added two aces. Defensively, Jaizemeine Ramirez (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) had a team-best 10 digs and served up five aces.

BCCC travels to Rockville, Md. on Thursday for a 6 p.m. match at Montgomery College.
