NORTH EAST, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team suffered a 3-0 (25-11, 25-15, 28-26) on Friday night at Cecil College. The Lady Panthers are now 3-11 on the season.
Cecil won the first two sets easily, but BCCC put up a fight in the third set, despite eventually falling to the Seahawks.
Danielle Standley (Baltimore Md./Milford Mill Academy) had a team-high four kills and added 1.5 blocks, one dig and one ace.
Kourtney Anderson (Baltimore, Md./City College) had seven digs and three kills and
Rodchell Thompson (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) tallied seven assists and six digs.
Sarita Santillan (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) had a team-high eight digs.
The Lady Panthers return to action at 6 p.m. on Tuesday when the host the College of Southern Maryland.
