Lady Panthers Go 0-3 at Alfred State Tournament

HORNELL, N.Y. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team dropped three matches in the Alfred State College Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Panthers (1-4) fell 0-2 to host Alfred State (19-25), Herkimer County Community College (14-25, 10-25) and Butler Community College (15-25, 15-25) on Saturday.

On the day, Kourtney Anderson (Baltimore, Md./City College) totaled 13 kills and 13 digs and Jamira Wilson (Baltimore, Md./Southside Academy) had nine kills.

The Lady Panthers return home to the P.E. Center to host the 2012 Charm City Volleyball Tournament this Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Tournament participants include Anne Arundel Community College, CCBC-Catonsville, CCBC-Essex, Chesapeake College, Howard Community College and BCCC.

Ten matches will be played on two courts, with the championship and consolation matches being played at 4 p.m. Admission is $3 for the general public. BCCC students, faculty, and staff will be allowed in for free with a valid BCCC ID.
