BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team beat Chesapeake College 105-98 on Wednesday night. BCCC improves its record to 14-5 overall and 10-0 in MD JUCO play.
Chesapeake (8-7) started out fast but could not sustain the momentum over the course of the first 20 minutes of play. BCCC lead at the break 46-39.
The Panthers led by 20 points midway in the second half, but a subpar outing at the free-throw line (20-of-42) kept the Skipjacks in the game. The Skipjacks ran out of time as the Panthers went on to seal the win.
For BCCC,
Quentin Judd (Baltimore, Md./Pensacola State College) ended the game with 25 points and
Kendal Williams (Dover, Del./Dover HS) had 24 points, eight assists and three rebounds.
