BCCC Suffers First Home Defeat against Brookdale 80-70

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team suffered its first loss of the season at the P.E. Center on Saturday against Brookdale Community College, 80-70. BCCC had won its first seven games at home.

BCCC (14-6) got off to a slow start and never got in the flow of the game as they trailed for most of it. The Panthers trailed by only five, 33-28, at the half.

For the BCCC, Sean Farr (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) had 17 points and four boards and Justin Kuntz (Baltimore, Md./Polk College) posted his sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and 18 rebounds while adding five steals and three blocks

Akeem Echols (Baltimore, Md./Cecil College) came off the bench to contribute 13 points and seven boards and Kendal Williams (Dover, Del./Dover HS) scored 12 points.

The Panthers will be on the road for a 7 p.m. game against Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Va.
