BALTIMORE, Md. – Montgomery College defeated the Baltimore Community College volleyball team on Tuesday night at the P.E. Center 3-0 (25-15, 25-9, 26-24). The Lady Panthers are now 5-13, 2-5 MD JUCO for the season.

The Lady Panthers gave a valiant effort trying to send it to a fourth set, but the Lady Raptors used a late run to close the door and finished the match in straight sets.

Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) had a team-high six kills and six digs and Rickiara Washington (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) finished with five kills.

Taylor Squirewell (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) and Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md./Carver Vo-Tech) both recorded five digs, Squirewell also tallied 15 assists and two aces for the match.

Kheri Mobley (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) and Jasmine Ashe (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) combined for eight total blocks on the night.

The Lady Panthers return to action on Thursday night for a 6 p.m. match against Hagerstown Community College at the P.E. Center.
