BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College volleyball team defeated Garrett College 3-0 (25-13, 25-11, 25-13) on Tuesday night at the P.E. Center.
With the win, the Lady Panthers helped coach
Amy Manougian gain a career-high six wins (6-14, 3-5 MD JUCO). The most wins prior was held at five which happened last season.
On their way to a record setting performance, the Lady Panthers as a team had their second highest statistical game of the season.
The Lady Panthers had a .316 hitting percentage and had 14 service aces.
Rickiara Washington (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) had a brilliant night hitting a season-high .600 on her way to a team-high of nine kills to go along with three aces and three digs.
Tiffany White (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) ended the night with team-high 17 assists alongside six kills, four digs and two block assists.
Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md./Carver Vo-Tech) contributed with three kills and
Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown), finished with four aces, two kills and two digs.
Kheri Mobley (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) recorded four kills and a team-high three solo blocks while fellow middle blocker
Jasmine Ashe (Baltimore, Md./Western HS), tallied three kills and three block assists.
Danaira Duncan (Baltimore, Md./Coppin Academy) shared the team-high in digs with four on the night.
The Lady Panthers will take on Harford Community College at the P.E. Center for a 6 p.m. match on Thursday.
