BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's basketball teams advanced to the quarterfinal rounds of the 2013 Maryland JUCO Conference Tournament after winning first-round games on Tuesday.
 
The No. 7 Lady Panthers posted a 78-50 win over Prince George's Community College and the men routed Montgomery College 99-70.
 
The women take on No. 2 Chesapeake College at 12 p.m. on Thursday at the APG Federal Credit Union Arena at Harford Community College. On the men's side, top-ranked BCCC will take on No. 9 CCBC-Catonsville at 5 p.m. on Friday.
