Lady Panthers Lose in Five to Delaware Tech Community College

DOVER, Del.
– The Baltimore City Community College volleyball team fell to Delaware Tech Community College 3-2 (25-20, 16-25, 25-23, 20-25, 9-15) on Monday night.  The Lady Panthers are now 3-10 on the season.

The Lady Panthers had a chance to finish the match in the fourth set, but the momentum shifted in favor of Delaware Tech, and the Lady Hawks put on a late rally and forced a fifth and deciding set.

Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) led the team in kills with eight to go along with 10 digs. Kheri Mobley (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) finished with six kills, four digs and four total blocks.

Taylor Squirewell (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) had a team-high 12 digs and four aces while adding seven assists and Tiffany White (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) contributed with 10 digs nine assists and four kills.

Jasmine Ashe (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) ended the match with a team-high five total blocks and added three kills.  

The Lady Panthers will be back in action on Wednesday against Allegany College in Cumberland, Md. for a 6 p.m. match.
