BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College volleyball team defeated Central Penn College on Monday night at the P.E. Center in four sets (25-18, 25-14, 21-25, 25-21). The win was the first for the Lady Panthers who are 1-4 this season.
Tiffany White (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor), Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) and Rickiara Washington (Baltimore, Md./Digital Harbor) led the team in kills with seven apiece. White also had 12 assists and 10 digs, while Scott served a team-high seven aces to go along with six digs. Washington added 10 digs, five aces and two block assists.
Kheri Mobley (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) had nine digs and two total blocks and Taylor Squirewell (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic) recorded seven assists, six digs and two aces. Briana Miller (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) also contributed six digs.
The Lady Panthers will travel to Columbia, Md. on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. match against Howard Community College.
