Panthers Come out Strong after the Break with a Convincing 91-56 win over Allegany

BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team defeated Allegany College of Maryland 91-56 on Saturday afternoon in the P.E. Center. BCCC (7-6, 4-1 MD JUCO), extended their conference win streak to four.

BCCC held a 53-14 lead going into the half. The Panthers forced 36 turnovers in the game and shot 46 percent for the game. 
 
Allegany's (2-10, 1-3) Davon Williams finished with a double-double with 15 rebounds and 14 points. Rashad Murphy had 12 points and Patrick Hill had 10 points and six rebounds.
 
For BCCC, all five starters scored in double digits. Brelin Elliott (Hughesville, Md./Thomas Stone HS) scored 14 points and a season-high seven rebounds.
 
DaJuan Dent (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills HS) and Brian Kelley (Lanham, Md./Atlantic Shores HS) both had 12 points. Dent also gathered 10 boards for his first career double-double.
 
Terry Harris (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood HS) recorded his second double-double of the season with 14 boards and 10 points and Xavier Richards (St. Thomas, U.S.V.I./Gwynn Park HS) scored 10 points and had nine rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Keon Press (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City HS) scored 13 points off the bench going 3-of-4 from three-point range.  

The Panthers travel to Brooklyn, N.Y. for a rematch against ASA College on Tuesday,  January 7th at 7 p.m.
