ANNANDALE, Va. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team was defeated by Northern Virginia Community College 3-0 (8-25, 12-25, 14-25) on Thursday night.

Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) and Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md./Carver Vo-Tech) led the team with four kills apiece.  Wright also had two block solos and two block assists while Garrison added four digs for the night.

Jaizmeine Ramirez (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) ended the game with a team-high 14 digs and Shabria Boykin (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern HS) had seven digs and two kills.

Aminah Carter (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore City HS) and Brianna Suggs (Baltimore, Md./Mervo HS) both had four assists.

The Lady Panthers will return home for a Saturday match against Anne Arundel Community College on October 9th at 1 p.m. 

General admission will be $5, $2 for BCPS and free admission for BCCC faculty, staff, and students with valid I.D.
