Box Score 2 BALTIMORE, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team split their two games in the Ben Williams Classic defeating Globe Institute of Technology (65-62) and losing to Cape Fear Community College (80-71) over the weekend at the P.E. Center.
In the win on Saturday, the Panthers were led by
John Majors (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo HS) with a team-high 15 points while adding eight rebounds off the bench.
Chas Brown (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic HS) posted a double-double with 15 rebounds and 13 points and
Tre' Thomas (Bowie, Md./Riverdale Baptist HS) scored 10 points and grabbed five boards.
On Sunday,
DaJuan Dent (Columbia, Md./Oakland Mills HS) scored a season-high 18 points along with eight rebounds.
Brian Kelley (Lanham, Md./Atlantic Shores) finished with 17 points and seven assists and Thomas added 16 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
The Panthers will travel to Florida to face Broward College and Miami Dade College on Wednesday and Thursday, December 17
th and 18
th. Both games start at 7 p.m.
