CATONSVILLE, MD. –
Xavier Richards (St. Thomas, U.S.V.I./Gwynn Park HS) scored a career-high 30 points to help engineer the Baltimore City Community College men's basketball team in the regular-season finale win in overtime 101-98 versus CCBC-Catonsville on Friday night.
The win placed BCCC in a three-way tie in the MD JUCO with a 10-4 record.
Desmond Stanback led the Cardinals with 26 points and Willie McDowell had 22 points.
For the Panthers,
John Majors (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo HS) finished with a career-high 19 points and four blocks while adding six rebounds.
Terry Harris (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood HS) and
Kavon Pyatt (Baltimore, Md./Edmondson HS) both scored 15 points.
Richards also had seven rebounds.
The Panthers will host Allegany College of Maryland on Tuesday, February 11 for the first round of the MD JUCO tournament. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
