LARGO, Md. – On Monday February 17, the Baltimore City Community College men's and women's basketball teams won the 2013-14 MD JUCO tournament. 
 
Both teams went through a grueling three games in three days hosted by Prince George's Community College. 
 
The women's team defeated Harford Community College 61-58 in the championship game. On the road to the Lady Panthers winning the championship they defeated Allegany College of Maryland, Montgomery College and Chesapeake College.
 
The men's team defeated Howard Community College 83-70 for the first MD JUCO championship since 2010. The Panthers beat Allegany College of Maryland, Montgomery and Hagerstown on their way to being champions.
