HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team was defeated on Wednesday night in Hagerstown, Md. by Hagerstown Community College 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-12). The Lady Panthers are now 1-4, 0-1 MD JUCO for the season.
Kierra Glasgow-Gibson (Baltimore, Md./Mervo HS) led the team with four kills and
Brianna Suggs (Baltimore, Md./Mervo HS) had three kills and three assists.
Jaizmeine Ramirez (Baltimore, Md./Woodlawn HS) finished with five digs and
Breiona Garrison (Baltimore, Md./Carver Vo-Tech) compiled four digs and two total blocks.
Jasmine Ashe (Baltimore, Md./Western HS) ended the match with four total blocks and
Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) contributed with two total blocks.
The Lady Panthers will host the Charm City Classic on Saturday, September 6
th at the P.E. Center. The classic will consist of Anne Arundel CC, CCBC-Catonsville, CCBC-Essex, Frederick CC and Howard CC. The Lady Panthers will play their first game at 11 a.m. against the Lady Pioneers.
