Box Score BALTIMORE, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-7) by Hagerstown Community College on Thursday night in the P.E. Center.
The Lady Panthers (1-7, 0-2 MD JUCO) came out strong and had a 15-10 lead before the Lady Hawks mounted a comeback.
The Lady Panthers would go on to lose the next two sets, but they showed great enthusiasm in front of a raucous crowd in the first home game of the season.
Charlida Basarath (Baltimore, Md./Dulaney) had a team-high five kills and
Jasmine Alston (Baltimore, Md./Mervo) ended the game with 13 assists and four kills.
Roxanne Dorsey (Baltimore, Md./Poly) finished with a team-high of nine digs and
Courtney Crawford (Lanham, Md./Archbishop Carroll) had two kills and two blocks for the match.
Alyn Sankar (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood) contributed with five digs and three kills.
The Lady Panthers will be hosting the fifth annual Dig Pink Charm City Classic this Saturday, September 12
th at the P.E. Center. The games will start at 10 a.m.
