BALTIMORE, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College women's volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-7) by Hagerstown Community College on Thursday night in the P.E. Center.

The Lady Panthers (1-7, 0-2 MD JUCO) came out strong and had a 15-10 lead before the Lady Hawks mounted a comeback.

The Lady Panthers would go on to lose the next two sets, but they showed great enthusiasm in front of a raucous crowd in the first home game of the season.

Charlida Basarath (Baltimore, Md./Dulaney) had a team-high five kills and Jasmine Alston (Baltimore, Md./Mervo) ended the game with 13 assists and four kills.

Roxanne Dorsey (Baltimore, Md./Poly) finished with a team-high of nine digs and Courtney Crawford (Lanham, Md./Archbishop Carroll) had two kills and two blocks for the match.

Alyn Sankar (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood) contributed with five digs and three kills.    

The Lady Panthers will be hosting the fifth annual Dig Pink Charm City Classic this Saturday, September 12^th at the P.E. Center. The games will start at 10 a.m.
