BALTIMORE, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's basketball teams were in action against Chesapeake College on Wednesday, January 27^th in the P.E. Center.

The Lady Panthers fought off a late run by the Lady Skipjacks in a 71-65 win engineered by freshman Natasha Roy (Gambrills, Md./Arundel HS) who scored 21 points, dished out eight assists to go along with five steals on the night.

In the men's game, the Panthers steam rolled the Skipjacks to a tune of 83-49. Brendon Smith (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) led the team with 13 rebounds and 12 points and Chad Andrews-Fulton (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution HS) finished with 11 boards and 10 points.
 
Both teams will travel to Hagerstown, Md. on Friday, January 29^th to face Hagerstown Community College in the ARCC. The women's game will start 6 p.m. and the tip-off for the men's game is scheduled for 8 p.m.
