Box Score 2 MCHENRY, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's basketball teams will advance to the semifinal games.
In the women's game on Thursday, the Lady Panthers defeated the Lady Dragons of Howard Community College 67-57.
Natasha Roy (Gambrills, Md./Arundel HS) led the team with 16 points and six steals.
Courtney Crawford (Lanham, Md./Archbishop Carroll HS) posted a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 13 rebounds and
She'cquan Bailey (Snow Hill, Md./Snow Hill HS) finished with 14 points, six rebounds and six assists.
LaShay Stackhouse (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) scored 14 points and pulled down nine boards, three steals and three steals and
Alyn Sankar (Baltimore, Md./Kenwood HS) ended the game with 11 rebounds and eight points.
The Lady Panthers will advance to the semifinal game on Saturday, February 13
th to take on Hagerstown Community College at 2 p.m. in the CARC Gymnasium.
In the men's game on Friday, the Panthers were victorious against the Trojans of Allegany College of Maryland winning 74-65.
Chad Andrews-Fulton (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution HS) recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Fredrell Jenkins (New Orleans, La/JS Clark HS) scored 13 points and
Tre' Thomas (Bowie, Md./Riverdale Baptist HS) had 10 points in the game.
Haneef Vaughn-Wilson (Philadelphia, Pa./Constitution HS) made some big plays in the late stretch of the game to seal the victory for the Panthers. Vaughn-Wilson's relentless was too much for the Trojans to handle as he finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and five steals.
The Panthers will take on the Raptors of Montgomery College at 5 p.m. on Saturday, February 13
th in the CARC Gymnasium.
