Lady Panthers lose nail-biter to CCBC Catonsville 78-80

CATONSVILLE, MD -- The Lady Panthers (3-2) of Baltimore City Community College ended their three game road with a tough loss against the Cardinals of CCBC Catonsville 78-80 on Tuesday night.
 
The Lady Panthers gave it all they had down the stretch and tied the game 76-76 on a layup made by Staisha Daniels with just 23 seconds left to play, but Catonsville was fouled and went to the line to hit the 2 go ahead free throws then added 2 more for good measure.
 
Freshman Sasha Francis led BCCC in scoring with 17 points, Staisha Daniels and Raelyn Muldrow each scored 12 points, and Gelecia Cooper was the last Lady Panther in double figures with 11 points.
