Adedayo leads BCCC past Anne Arundel 99-82, Panthers now 6-0 in conf. play

Box Score BALTIMORE, MD -- Joe Adedayo with the steal and the layup, Joe Adedayo with the steal and the layup, Joe Adedayo with the steal and...you get the point.

The sophomore guard set the tone again Friday night on the defensive end with 5 steals, led the Panthers attack offensively with 22 points, and had yet another dunk to add to his season highlight reel as Baltimore City Community College defeated Anne Arundel Community College 99-82 on Friday night.

"Joe gave us a jump start with his energy defensively," coach Terry Maczko said, "that spread to the rest of the team and fueled our run in the second half to put the game out of reach."

The Panthers were clicking on all cylinders as a season-high six different players scored in double-figures. Victor Okafor and Randy Rickards scored 13 points, Ndongo Ndaw and Lelan Eackles had 11 points, and Ahmad Williams had 10 points for BCCC (13-4, 6-0), who shot 53 percent from the field.

NEXT UP

The Panthers of BCCC will be on the road again Monday night to take on the Bears of Harcum College in Pennsylvania.
