The Lady Panthers are still in search of their first win of the season. Their loss to the Catamounts of Potomac State College still finds the team searching for a way to defend the boards and shoot at a higher percentage. The Catamounts had 10 more rebounds than the Panthers. They also shot 48% from the field, versus 23.5% for the Panthers. Another area of improvement needed to change the fortunes of the Panthers is at the charity strips. The Panthers went 8 for 18 and literally give back 10 points.
The team was lead once again by Freshmen
Tannaya Willies. She scored 16 points after making 6 of 18 field goals, 4 of them being three pointers. She was joined in double figures by Freshmen
Alaysia Fernandez, who was making her debut. Alaysia was one rebound from a double. She put up 10 points and 9 rebounds.
The team will next travel to Raleigh North Carolina to participate in the Wake Tech Community College Tournament. The tournament is played over two days beginning November 9th.
