CUMBERLAND, MD - The Baltimore City Panthers saw their season come to an end as the #6 seed team in the tournament fell to the #3 seed and tournament host Allegany Trojans 87-71.

The Panthers played strong in the first half, erasing a 22-14 deficit with an 8-0 run that was started by a Zach Smith three pointer. Allegany struck back with a 7-0 run, but a Marquise Delahaye dunk and a Joshua Bryant layup kept the game close for a 32-26 halftime lead for the Trojans. 

Baltimore City stormed out in the second half as Blake Neverdon made back-to-back buckets in the paint followed by a Carlos Green long range make to put the Panthers ahead 33-32. Green hit another three pointer to stem a Trojan run with Neverdon hitting one as well to keep it at 51-47 midway through the second half. That would be the closest Baltimore City would get as Allegany utilized the hometown advantage to pull away late and finish the Panthers season. 

Neverdon finished the season on a high note with 22 points and 8 rebounds. Smith scored 13 points off the bench along with 7 rebounds. Delahaye and Kut Deng scored 11 points each while Bryant scored another strong game with 8 points and 7 rebounds before fouling out. 

The Panthers will finish the season with a 12-16 record and will be forced to say tough goodbyes to the sophomore class including Carlos Green, Antonio Fliggins, and Zach Smith.
