BALTIMORE, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's basketball program provided a pre-Super Bowl fix for sports fans in Charm City, but it did not go according to plan for the Panthers as Bryant & Stratton (Virginia) came out of the gates hot and held the home five at arm's length to win 83-64.

• Antonio Fliggins topped the Red and Black in scoring despite playing only 15 minutes off the bench, going 4-for-9 (44.4%) and 2-for-3 (66.7%) from distance en route to a dozen points.

 

• Albatrit Syla also hit double-digits via ten points, was the team's top rebound-getter at seven, the game's most assists with four, and was one of three players to log multiple steals (2).

 

• Motsumi Maayani made his presence felt courtesy of a trio of blocks and four points over 16 minutes.

 

• Jamari Seri (9), Lebarron Gordon (7), Jamar Payen (7), Joram Fabian Spee (6), and Anthony Baker (5) all contributed at least a pair of buckets toward the final tally.
