Congratulations to the Lady Panthers Basketball team. The team brought home the second-place trophy from the NJCAA Region 20 Tournament. This is the first award for the women's team since 2019 when they also placed second in the tournament. The team was led by the only sophomore on this year's squad, Promise Whitmore. She led the team in scoring, averaging 13.3 per game. Promise was individually honored with a place on the all- tournament team for her performance in the championship as well as being named to the NJCAA Region 20 All-Team. The All-Region Team honor is one reserved for the top five Division I players in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Delaware.

As mentioned, this year's team was made up of freshmen, except for Promise Whitmore. This gives first year coach Rhonda Jackson a great head start for next season's campaign.
