2012:  Played in 19 games…averaged 7.5 pts on 59 percent shooting and 3.9 rebs…had season-highs in points (21) & rebounds (8) on 11/24/12 against Rend Lake College and steals (4) on 12/4/12 against Westminster College J.V.

At Dunbar: Was a member of the basketball…led her Dunbar High School team to back to back Class A State Championships as a junior and senior…as a junior she scored 40 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in the title game and followed that up with 33 points and 15 rebounds in the title game as a senior…in the four semi-final and final games Wright appeared in during the Maryland State Tournament she scored 129 points for a 32.3 scoring average…Wright also averaged a double-double in her final two seasons of high school competition…As a junior she notched 22.3 points and 10 rebounds per game while shooting 64 percent from the field…she averaged 24.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.4 steals per game. She scored 1,844 points and grabbed 903 rebounds for her career…Wright was also named 1st Team All-Metro by the Baltimore Sun in both her junior and senior seasons.
