BCCC Women Fall 66-36 to Tidewater Community College

Sarah Hunt-Fofana scored a team-high 15 points against TCC

MARTINSVILLE, Md. – Kiana Carpenter scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Tidewater Community College women's basketball team to a 66-36 win over Baltimore City Community College in the final day of the Comfort Inn Patrick Henry Community College Tipoff Tournament.

TCC players Desiree Johnson and Allison Black also scored in double figures with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Johnson added a game-high 10 rebounds for TCC.

For BCCC, freshman guard Sarah Hunt-FoFana (Bronx, N.Y., John F. Kennedy HS) just missed a double-double with 15 points and nine rebounds. Tierra McCormick (Washington, D.C., Calvin Coolidge HS) tallied 13 points and four rebounds, while Keyontay Dunaway (Baltimore, Md.) grabbed nine rebounds.

The Lady Panthers are off until Friday night when they host Globe Institute of Technology at 7 p.m. on Friday. They also host Northern Virginia Community College at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
