BEL AIR, Md. – Despite Sarah Hunt-FoFana's (Bronx, N.Y.) career-highs of 26 points and 13 rebounds, the Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team fell 65-60 to Harford Community College on Saturday afternoon at the Susquehanna Center.

Hunt-Fofana was 8-of-17 from the floor for the game and 10-of-15 from the free-throw line in 40 minutes.

In the closest game they played all season, the Lady Panthers (0-22, 0-10 MD JUCO) were within three points, 29-26, at halftime.

BCCC took a six-point lead (47-41) in the second half after a layup by Brittany Dean (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) with 8:43 left in the game. But Harford (7-11, 2-7 MD JUCO) went on an 8-2 run to tie the game at 49-all.

The Lady Panthers regained the lead after a bucket by Hunt-Fofana at the 3:24 mark. At that point, BCCC was down to four players after Aissata Dicko (Bamako, Mali) fouled out with 5:20 left in the game.

A free throw by Aniya Rolle with 1:53 left gave the Fighting Owls the lead for good. The Lady Panthers could not recover after that because they played the last 1:38 with just three players on the court.

Tiffany Taylor had a game-high 31 points and added 11 rebounds for HCC. Rolle added 19 points and five rebounds in 39 minutes, while Jacklyn Hall and Tiff Smith had 15 and 11 rebounds, respectively.
