CUMBERLAND, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team earned its first win of the season with a 63-52 defeat of Allegany College of Maryland on Tuesday night.
 
The Lady Panthers (1-5, 1-1 MD JUCO) had an 11-point lead (31-20) at halftime which proved to be the winning margin BCCC would need to seal the win.
 
Maddie Knightengale led Allegany (0-6, 0-2) with 22 points and added seven rebounds. Monique Rhodes tallied a double-double of 10 points and 11 boards and JoJo Carr had 10 rebounds and seven points.
 
Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown HS) had a double-double of 23 points and 19 rebounds and added four blocks (all game-highs). Tiara France (Petersburg, Va./Petersburg HS) was the other Lady Panther in double figures with 11 points.
 
The Lady Panthers will be back at it again on Nov. 28 when they travel to Bel Air, Md. to take on Harford Community College.
