COLUMBIA, Md. – Tashay Smith (Baltimore, Md./Overlea HS) had 24 points and 12 rebounds and Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown HS) tallied 19 points and 16 rebounds to help the Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team to a 66-43 win at Howard Community College on Thursday.
 
The Lady Panthers (5-10, 3-3 MD JUCO) played a balanced game, scoring 33 points in each half while limiting Howard to just 16 second-half points.
 
Paris Preston led Howard with 11 points and added seven rebounds. Lenee' Kimbel and Kara Hight each scored 10 points apiece.
 
The Lady Panthers are off until January 5, 2013 when they travel to Frederick, Md. to play Frederick Community College at 5 p.m.
