BALTIMORE, Md. – Sashana Bucknor scored a game-high 20 points to lead the ASA women's basketball team to a 68-50 win over Baltimore City Community College on Wednesday night at the BCCC P.E. Center.
ASA dominated the first half and took a 37-17 lead into halftime. BCCC (8-14) outscored ASA 33-31 in the second half, but could not overcome the large first-half deficit.
Tashuna Brown also scored in double figures for ASA with 12 points. She added seven rebounds and one steal.
Iman Scott (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown HS) had 14 points and seven rebounds for BCCC while
Tashay Smith (Baltimore, Md./Overlea HS) had 16 points.
Tiara France (Petersburg, Va./Petersburg HS) tallied 13 points, seven boards and seven assists and
Aquira Nixon (Baltimore, Md./Northwestern HS) grabbed a game-high 10 boards.
BCCC hosts Montgomery College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
