MCHENRY, Md. – The Baltimore City Community College men's and women's basketball team defeated Garrett College Thursday night in Clark Arena.

The Lady Panthers won 88-55, and are still undefeated in the MDJUCO (14-5, 7-0 MDJUCO). Michelle Wright (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS) scored 30 points, grabbed eight rebounds, with six steals and three blocks. Wright has scored 30 or more points in three games this season.

The men's team won 87-71 in the late game, led by John Majors (Upper Marlboro, Md./Largo HS) with a  team-high 18 points and a game-high 14 rebounds. This is Majors first double-double of his career.

Both teams will be in action on Saturday, January 10^th in Dundalk, Md. to face cross town rivals CCBC-Dundalk. The women's game will begin at 12 noon and the men's game will start at 2 p.m.
