Box Score BALTIMORE, MD. – The Baltimore City Community College women's basketball team got back on track on Wednesday night in the P.E. Center against the Community College of Philadelphia in a 93-16 win.
The Lady Panthers led after the first quarter 28-0 and scored the game's first 32 points before CCOP got on the board. The Lady Panthers forced 50 turnovers in the game and held CCOP to 5-of-34 (14.7 percent) shooting from the field.
BCCC was led by
Brittany Hinton (Philadelphia, Pa./Imhotep HS) who tied with a game-high of 16 points with two of her fellow Lady Panthers teammates,
She'cquan Bailey (Snow Hill, Md./Snow Hill HS) and
LaShay Stackhouse (Baltimore, Md./Dunbar HS).
Hinton also had six rebounds, three assists and two steals. Bailey ended the game with seven steals, five assists, four boards and two blocks and Stackhouse finished with five rebounds and three steals.
Courtney Crawford (Lanham, Md./Archbishop Carroll HS) led all rebounders with nine to go along with eight points and
Alexis Wade (Raleigh, N.C./Southeast Raleigh HS) finished with eight boards, a season-high seven assists, six points and four steals.
The Lady Panthers will be home on Saturday December 19
th, for the last game before the holiday break to take on the Lady Cardinals of CCBC-Catonsville at 1 pm in the P.E. Center.
General admission is $5.00, $2.00 for BCPS and free admissions for faculty and students with a valid I.D.
