Lineup change ignites Panthers offense in 100-59 rout over Howard CC

COLUMBIA, MD -- You have to make some changes if you want different results, BCCC Panthers Head Coach Terry Maczko did exactly that Saturday afternoon, and it worked to perfection.

On the bench to start the game were usual starters Joe Adedayo, Victor Okafor, and Mohamed Camara. In their places were the usually heavily relied on reserves Lelan Eackles and Ahmad Williams, and the seldom used Ahmin Williams.

Coach Maczko's decision appeared to be a stroke of genius.

Baltimore City Community College scores 50 in each half and dominated the Dragons of Howard Community College in their 100-59 victory to improve to 14-6 (7-1 conf.) on the season.

Eackles, in his third start of the season, led BCCC in scoring with 19 points and also added 2 blocks. Randy Rickards posted a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds while also dishing out 6 assists. Ahmin Williams, making his first start of the season, had 15 points and 6 rebounds. Ndongo Ndaw rounded out the double-figure scoring for the starters with 11 points and added 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Joe Adedayo led the bench and was the last player for the Panthers in double-figures with 11 points.
