Today was Sophomore night for Baltimore City, as we honored our Sophomore Guards Carson Smith and David Harris pregame. The festivities were one of the only highlights for the Panthers today, as they dropped the game to Chesapeake CC 88-57. The first half of today's game against Chesapeake CC for the Panthers was rough, as the Panthers struggled to find any real rhythm throughout. Early in the first half, the already short-staffed Panthers lost Smith to an ankle injury, further hindering BCCC's comeback efforts. The Skipjacks stifled BCCC, as they held the Panthers to just 23% shooting for the entire game. The Panthers fought throughout, but offensively, nothing was falling for the Panthers.

The second half was more of the same, as Chesapeake continued to thwart the Panthers defensively. The starting 5 for the Panthers was shut down for the majority of the game, with Albright Obode being the only bright light; Obode would tally 11 points and 9 rebounds. Andre Stallings-McCargo led the team in scoring with 12 points off of the bench. Coach Thelanious Prioleau, will have to go back to the lab, to put together a winning formula for the Panthers heading into the Region XX Tournament in two weeks.
